Whether by land, along the high mountains and across even higher passes, or by plane, over those very mountains, even the journey is breathtaking.

Also in close vicinity to Leh there is a lot to explore. There are all the different but always beautiful monasteries, which not only Buddhist enthusiasts will like. And also smaller hiking tours are possible.

Ladakh is located at altitudes between 2676m in Kargil to 7672m at Saser Kangri in the Karakoram Mountains. Be it in the West of Ladakh, with all the beautiful monasteries, in the east of the country, the nomadic area of the salt lakes or in beautiful Zanskar.
